How to Use This Program
Don't use this Flashcard program if the learner is not ready to start to read.
Trying too hard can easily put a new reader off. Just read often to them until they are ready.
There are a great many reading methods. Most of them work if used enthusiastically.
1. The reader cannot do this alone. A teacher or parent or tutor should be with them.
2. Look over each of the word lists to see which ones will be suitable for the child at this development level.
3. Select a list e.g. 'Long O'. Click on it.

4. For an early reader, you might read the sentence and then ask what the big word is.
For an advanced reader you can ask them to read the sentence.
5. There are about 20 words and sentences in each of these groups. At the end, the words fly across the page.
6. Some words are 'sight words'. e.g 'My First Hundred'.
